1. Introduction

Welcome to RootedAsia. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RootedAsia website, online store, and related services.

In these Terms, “RootedAsia,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to RootedAsia. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services.

Actual packaging, colors, or minor visual details may vary due to manufacturer packaging updates or differences in display settings. We do not intentionally represent a product as something different from the item being sold.

Please review the product title, brand, net weight, ingredients, and other available details before purchasing. For packaged food products, refer to the physical package for the most current ingredient, allergen, storage, and other manufacturer-provided information.

Product availability and specifications may change. We will make reasonable efforts to update product information when changes become known to us.

4. Product Prices, Taxes, and Charges

Product prices are displayed on the relevant product pages and may change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price presented when you complete checkout, subject to any clearly disclosed promotional terms.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges, if any, will be presented during checkout before you submit your order. The final amount charged should correspond to the order summary provided at checkout.

5. Orders and Payment

After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation acknowledging receipt. An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has shipped.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will arrange any applicable refund to the original payment method.

Please review your order details carefully before completing checkout. If you need to request a cancellation or correction, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes after an order has entered processing or shipment.

Payment must be made through the payment methods made available at checkout. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We currently offer shipping to destinations within the United States, subject to the options available at checkout.

Order processing generally takes 1–3 business days, unless otherwise stated. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Shipping methods, applicable charges, and available delivery estimates are presented during checkout where available. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.

Actual delivery times may be affected by carrier operations, weather, holidays, destination, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will not intentionally advertise a delivery timeframe that we know we cannot reasonably support.

If your order is delayed, appears lost, arrives damaged, or contains an incorrect item, contact us so we can review the situation.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Damaged Products

Returns, refunds, cancellations, and product-related complaints are handled according to our Refund and Return Policy.

Because our store sells food and pantry products, certain items may not be eligible for return once shipped or delivered. Any applicable restrictions and exceptions are described in our Refund and Return Policy.

If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, expired, or apparently spoiled, please contact us promptly and provide your order number and relevant photographs or other supporting information where available.

RootedAsia is an independent retailer. Unless expressly stated otherwise, displaying a third-party brand or product does not imply that RootedAsia owns that brand, manufactures that product, or is officially affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturer.

RootedAsia uses Shopify to host and operate its online store.

Products purchased through this store are sold by RootedAsia, not by Shopify. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products and services.

Shopify is not the seller of products purchased from RootedAsia and is not responsible for the fulfillment of our orders, except to the extent required by applicable law.

Your use of our website and the personal information you provide are subject to our Privacy Policy.
